Welcome! This web page supplements my Learn Corelli's Sarabande video on YouTube by providing all the files, links, and other references from my that video. Yes it's my first video in a while. I'm sorry. It was a tough winter! I'm excited about this video though. I posted this tune on Patreon a few months back and I have been itching to work it up and do a lesson video. It's not too hard, it's catchy, and it just sits well on the mandolin. I hope everyone here enjoys playing it and does so for years and years.

Here are some of my favorite albums that feature this piece. You'll notice they are not chord melodies on mandolin. Nope nope nope. This is violin music (I'm sorry). Our favorite instrument wasn't really around as we know it today during Corelli's time, or I'm sure he would have made the right choice. These albums generally contain all of our boy Arcanagelo Corelli's violin sonatas. Most of it is incredibly good stuff that I recommend listening to.
You can often find cool stuff on YouTube that's NOT on albums. Here are some fun versions from across the universe. I think my favorite is the recorder version. Keep in mind our sarabande is a single movement in a larger suite, so I've included the timecode below where the Sarabande starts, but if something weird happens you might have to click around to find the right spot. Thought about it more. The recorder version is the best. I'll hear no other arguments!
